One real project every ~4–6 weeks, run in 8 short sessions — this platform. Meaning and agency, so the reps feel like building, not drilling.

Find the real gap under a problem and build the fix. “Fix what’s broken.” Expeditions 3–4 (capstone).

My Math-Fact Smoke Detector

Their own little Smoke Detector — a tool that spots the math facts they're about to forget (the smoke) so they can practice them before they cause a bad grade (the fire).

Their own Fair-Share Fixer — a simple helper that splits things equally (into halves, thirds, fourths) and settles "that's not fair!" before it becomes a real argument.

Capstone: they pick a real-world thing they care about, read two sources, and make a little story or explainer that teaches someone else how to handle it — then name whether their project is Foresight or Respond, and why.

Two rules that never bend

Open with a Callback — make them retrieve last time’s thinking. Close with an Open Loop — a real question they carry out the door. And the rule that runs the whole year: they decide, you help. They’re the author, not the audience.

Privacy: first name + age only — never a last name, a school, or an address. Everything works with no account at all, stored on this device. If a coach signs in to back up their work, their builders’ names, progress and log lines sync to their own private row. Build photos never leave the device.
