Convince Your Reader
When you back up what you believe with reasons, people listen — that is how change starts.
The move
A persuasive paragraph tries to convince the reader. Start with your opinion, give at least two strong reasons, and end by asking the reader to agree or take action.

Think of one change that would make your school or neighborhood better. Write a paragraph to convince others. Give at least two reasons.
