Add a Describing Detail
Details are how you help a reader see what you saw.
The move
A describing detail tells more about a thing — its color, size, sound, or how it feels. It turns "a dog" into "a fluffy brown dog."
Write it
Write two sentences about a thing you like. In at least one sentence, add a describing detail so the reader can picture it.

- Capital letter at the start of each sentence
- Punctuation at the end of each sentence
- At least one describing detail (color, size, sound, or feeling)
Keep going — 2 sentences at least, then we’ll look at it together.
